Stop the Violence, Start the Vision is a transformative youth program by the Byrd’s Entrepreneurial Institute (The B.E.I.).

This initiative connects faith, entrepreneurship, and mental health to empower young people, reduce violence, and help them build successful futures as leaders in their communities. Through mentorship, skill development, and spiritual guidance, participants are equipped to turn challenges into opportunities for growth and lasting impact.

Empowering Youth through Faith, Mental Health, and Entrepreneurship

  • Faith and Purpose

    Participants will explore how faith provides a foundation for leadership, resilience, and vision, helping them navigate life’s challenges.

  • Business Training

    Through workshops and mentorship, participants will gain business skills, develop their own business plans, and learn how entrepreneurship can provide economic empowerment.

  • Mental Health Support

    The program integrates emotional intelligence training and mental health resources, helping youth manage stress, conflict, and trauma while building personal strength.

  • Violence Prevention

    Participants will learn conflict resolution techniques and be inspired to make positive choices that reduce violence and uplift their communities.

About the Program:

Stop the Violence, Start the Vision is an empowering 2-week program by the Byrd’s Entrepreneurial Institute (The B.e.I.) designed to provide youth with the tools they need to create positive change in their lives and communities. By connecting faith, mental health, and entrepreneurship, this program addresses the root causes of violence and equips young people with the skills to build brighter futures.

Participants will learn how to turn their energy into purpose, develop leadership skills, and explore entrepreneurship as a path to economic independence. With a strong focus on mental wellness and conflict resolution, youth are guided toward a vision of peace, personal growth, and community impact.

Who Can Join?

The Stop the Violence, Start the Vision program is open to youth ages 14-24 in underserved and at-risk communities. Participation is free, and each youth will engage with mentors from local business, Stop the violence Organizations, and faith leaders who will provide guidance and support throughout the program.
